My 3 preferd sources of energy are:

Hydropower
Nuclear Power
Wind Power

I'll start with the advantages of Hydropwer.
Hydroper is a renewable recource which means it can be re-used. It already suplies 19% of the worlds electricity. Another good thing about Hydropwer Dams are that they can also supply drinking water, which is a great. Hydropower is cost-effective, after the initial cost of building the dam is overcome. Hydroper causes no polution therefore it is good for the enviroment, it is both good and bad for the enviroment.

Nuclear Energy
Despite that Nuclear Energy is Non-Renwable recource it causes little poultion compared to the burning of coal. Nuclear Energy can be a safe source of energy depending of how you use it. It's effect on the enviroment has been quite large on some occasions.

Wind Energy
Wind energy is a renewable recource. It causes no polution and is one of the cheapest forms of energy. The turbines in past have killed many birds. The turbines are known to break down and break easilly but other than that they are very eay to work with.

Coal power
Coal Power has been around ever since the Industrial Revolution and has been in use ever since. Coal is used to produce electricity and heat through combustion. Approximately 40% of the world’s electricity is produced from burning coal. India, Australia, China and the USA burn large amounts of coal. Coal is a non-renewable resource, therefore it is limited. Experts say that we will one day RUN OUT!!! D:

Pro: Plentiful

Coal is one of the world's most plentiful energy sources. Dallas, Texas, in The United States has 25 percent of the world's known coal reserves.

Con: Pollution

Coal-fired power plants are a major source of air pollution. Environmentalists also claim coal burning contributes to acid rain and releases large amounts of carbon dioxide, which contributes to global warming.

Pro: Inexpensive

Compared to other similar energy sources, coal is inexpensive. Experts say this will mean lower energy bills for consumers and businesses.

Con: Health Concerns

Air pollution from coal-burning poses a health hazard, especially for people with respiratory diseases.

Pro: Versatile

Coal can also be made into a liquid or gas. It is claimed that liquefied or gasified coal burns cleaner, meaning less air pollution.

Con: Nonrenewable

Like other fossil fuels, coal is a nonrenewable energy source. Environmentalists and conservationists who oppose coal advocate cleaner, renewable energy sources.

URANIUM!!

I think we should use Nuclear Power because it sounds evil and I like Evil.
but its not evil
